Irving Grunbaum was born in Germany and grew up in New York City. After graduating from Parsons School of Design, he first worked as a photographer, and later became a designer and art director for companies including Condé Nast Magazines, Coty, and Jacob and Co. His etchings, monotypes, photographs and sculptures have been widely exhibited.
